16. Ha ha! Or maybe Bob Frum has kept his unblemished record

I actually like Bob Frum whereas McAuliffe was like Baghdad Bob running Hillary's campaign.

4. It's not just Coakley, even though many will deny it, it's mostly about defeating this crappy
collage of Insurance Cartel handouts. To defeat a bill that NOBODY wants "as is."

If you wish to PLACE blame, consider President Obama and Harry Reid for allowing Senator Baccus and GOPers Grassley and Snow to run rough shod over the entire process. BLAME them also for not even putting "single payer" on the table at the onset so THE WORST we'd achieve is "a robust public option."

You know where the buck stops with Legislation - Harry Reid.

19. But it's mostly Coakley. There were a bunch of us on DU pointing out what a horrible candidate
she was, is, and continues to be long before Ted Kennedy had passed away (but not before started her morbid opportunist hack campaign.)

13. The only way they can regain control of Washington
is to differentiate their selves from the lying corporatist RATpubliCONs.

Then and only then will they have the support of the American people

8. I'm thinking that as a result of Kennedy being dead...
possibly didn't receive advice from him on how he won. If there wasn't anyone from any of Kennedy's previous campaigns working for Coakley then she was in the dark. But someone had to be providing her with strategy from a past Kennedy campaign.

12. I don't know, but I'm convinced that Lionel (or the Lionel radio show)
is right. He had quite a long rant last week about how most Americans decide who to vote for. It's rarely qualifications, intelligence, or any of the things we're most often told! It's who they like best, on a personal basis. It's who they feel comfortable with.

Think about presidential elections.

Kennedy won over Nixon

Nixon won over Humphrey

Carter won over Ford

Reagan won over Carter

GH Bush won over Mondale

Clinton won over GH Bush

GW Bush won over Kerry

Obama won over McCain

Ignore what you thought of their persidency and think strictly about the personalities of those men...at least during their campaigns.

Lionel started this rant talking about how he had hased hundreds of people WHY they voted for Barack Obama. Almost all of them, when really pushed for an answer said "I LIKE HIM!"

THAT'S what I think we're seeing in Mass. right now.
