1. If we haven't heard by now, it's a horserace.

4. Not true. Zero exit polls and voting doesn't stop for an hour.
We wouldn't know at this point even if it were a blowout.

2. Well, if it's like Minnesota, maybe late April or May
I would definitely put the kids to bed. Whatever the result, we certainly won't know for some time, which give you absolutely no excuse for not reading them bedtime stories.

3. If it's a blowout, 9-10PM EST
Edited on Tue Jan-19-10 07:14 PM by WeDidIt
If it's within 7 points, but not a real squeaker by 10-11:59 PM EST

A squeaker could go to the wee hours or even as long as six to eight months, depending upon how close.

5. If it's a 'squeaker', they have to wait 10 days for absentee ballots

And a recount can be asked for if the margin is less than one half per cent.

6. No exit polls, so you probably won't know a few minutes after 8

7. I'm predicting weeks from now....
... unless Brown wins in a blowout.

I think this thing is going to go to court.
