Democratic Caucus: 59 seats

Republican Caucus: 41 seats



House:

Democratic Caucus: 256
Republican Caucus: 178

5. Honestly, why can't we go back to the days when people had to be there and talking
continuously to filibuster? What's the point of essentially letting people threaten one and stop everything?

And we the people get screwed. The party labels are meaningless, the corporatists are still in control and the Real Dems are in a minority.

9. I agree with the reminder that we are still in the majority
But one thing I want to point out is that the House barely passed the HCR bill. If we had to go back and start over, I think it is doubtful it would pass either chamber. That worries me. There are a lot of conservadems in both chambers that are going to continue to kill us.

it would pass after being watered down even more by the Stupaks in the House.
