The real problem....
Is that the average American voter is a fucking moron. They buy whatever the scummiest snake oil salesman tells them to. The GOP is far better at selling these fools a bill of goods, and that's whey we can't compete.

Their "ideas" or lack of will never challenge ours, but their pitch is what gets us. Appeal to their ignorance and fear, and you'll win them every time.

It's that old saying all over again. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make them drink.

.... apparently. The Brown camp rain a great campaign, tapped into that populist ignorant outrage, but we handed it to them.

3. And the teabagging base never abandons them
They don't stay home and let the Democrats win because they are "disappointed" and "disillusioned" because they don't have a right wing paradise within a year. They let Bush have 6 years and are still working to get the Repukes back in. Say what we will about Repukes, they have patience and fortitude and never stay home to punish the Repukes.

But I agree. The "independents" are a bunch of shallow, wishy-washy losers. And they have lost all right to complain about their joblessness and being without health insurance - though I suppose they are not the ones suffering from such or they would not be so cavalier.

4. Yup.
It's like the 2004 presidential election all over again. And, not only are they fucking morons, they're fucking morons with really short memories. They live in the moment, don't read, and don't comprehend that the mess we are in was 30 years in the making. It can't be fixed overnight, no matter how hard they stamp their feet and say, "I want it NOW!!" So, since they don't get their immediate gratification, they go running right back to those who made the mess in the first place. Morons, indeed.
