There sure were a lot of obstacles standing in the way of health care reform

2) needing 60 votes for a non-reconciliation bill
3) the blue dogs' opposition to anything mainstream Democrats would be satisfied with
3) Ted Kennedy's vote being #60
4) Joe Lieberman's vote being #60
5) Ben Nelson's vote being #60
6) Robert Byrd's vote being #60 when he is very old and very ill

...and many, many more

However, knowing all those obstacles were there, and we all saw them long ago.

Doesn't it seem like there was never a Plan B should anything go wrong? To me, yesterday's election and today's dithering and hem-hawing shows that there never was a Plan B --or else they would have trotted it out.

There wasn't one.

Are you telling me that while flying through the Bermuda Triangle of politics (health care reform), Rahm did not have a Plan B and didn't have congress on board with one should one event appear which could derail the whole thing?

Well Care, Choice Point, Humana, Blue Cross, Sen Baucus, Joe Lieberman, Sen Nelson. Huge payouts and bribery, Rham Emanuel, Goldman Sachs, Tim Geithner, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi to name a few.

Pres Obama should be ashamed to have his name anywhere near this POS Bill.
