We better figure out all the elements that contributed to this debacle and adjust accordingly. This is bigger than having a pet theory confirmed by instant analysis of election returns. We Democrats, Progressives, Liberals, Moderates, Realists, Idealists, all of us need to get our act together and soon. The danger that the people on the right pose to our democracy, environment and the world requires us to right our ship and demonstrate that we are capable of governing this country.
