I know that I do some grammatical and punctuation errors when I am posting in a hurry. I used to chat at one time, so it was in real time and it was as it was as spoken. Things weren't what my English teachers would have liked. This woman wants to be leader of the world, she needs to think even if she's too lazy to learn. :eyes:

You're underestimating her, and making fun of her, but "her people" know exactly what she means. So fine, if you wanta just shrug it all off as nonsense babble, feel free, but understand that you do so at your own peril.

I didn't see the Glenn Beck documentary and I have no desire ever to do so, but I know what Palin is talking about. Essentially, it's a form of Munchausen-by-proxy -- manufacturing a crisis, whether it's global warming or failing schools or banking meltdowns -- and then using the perception of the crisis to enact what is ultimately harmful (to the general public at least) legislation.

She's using a kind of reverse engineering, by labeling the policy as bad (because it interferes, usually, with exploitive but profitable business concerns) and therefore it must stem from a manufactured crisis. She gets her listeners/readers/twitterers (how apropos!) by the throat, going after their emotions FIRST so that an appeal to their reason results in a foregone conclusion.

The only thing that kept Sarah Palin from being elected VP was her abject stupidity coupled with McCain's age/health issues and his own poorly run campaign, If she had been paired with Romney or Huckabee, her inexperience (like Dan Quayle's) would not be a problem.

Like a personal acquaintance of mine, she's not as smart as she'd like us to think she is, but neither is she as stupid as we want her to be. And that's why she's so dangerous.

She (and Beck) is saying that the economic crisis was BS, and that Obama is using it to push his *agenda* thru as a shock doctrine model.
They are not just putting the crisis on Obama, but they are also denying it all at the same time. The bottom line is that they are trying to say Obama is using the Shock Doctrine. These people are MASTERS at projection.

No, I am not joking, that is what they are doing. They might be nuts, but they have ill informed people watching who will believe it.
