If we get a fair deal and trust these firms as good actors a mandate would not be a real problem. But it is a tough sell when these firms have bad reputations.

and I don't think people in general would be happy paying the same amount as required to buy insurance to buy into Medicare at an earlier age. I know my current coverage is cheaper for me than medicare and better coverage (however I get it subsidized by my employer)
