The stock markets are closed and you can't lose any more of your retirement for 2 whole days. Maybe the Dems can stop their panic about the Scott Brown outcome. Maybe some smart Democrats will talk to Senator Boxer about Bernanke.
The economic system has been brought back a bit from the brink. It is still in the process of being stabilized. Major changes are not a good idea just now. We are not talking about changing pilots in the middle of a tailspin. Bernanke and Geithner have done an exceptionally good job of this. Not perfect, but good enough not to collapse the country, something the GOP would dearly love.
I assume Mr. Obama is massaging things in preparation for the SOTU address. I see a game of one-upmanship.
Republicans are stirring up shit for no other reason than to stir up shit. They think Brown gives them a mandate. They are still half-wits without a plan.
The SCOTUS has just told corporations they don't have to bus idiot Teabaggers around the country anymore. They will be unhappy to lose those free bus trips.
Life may be good.

1. Life may be GOOD if our President does MORE than make pretty speeches. |

If he goes to Capitol hill and kicks ass and have Rahm do the same.
Bless Barbara Boxer - we don't need more Bernanke. HELL to the *NO!* on that suggestion.
p.s. I don't give a damn about Wall Street or the Investor Class' Stock Market.
