Official "Thank you Andre Bauer" thread.
Edited on Sun Jan-24-10 01:08 PM by Bleacher Creature
For people who haven't been following the story, Lt. Gov. Andre Bauer, a South Carolina Republican (obviously) gave a speech where he compared giving people government assistance to "feeding stray animals."

While his words are vile and despicable, I have to give the guy credit for his honesty. He basically summed up the entire intellectual basis and foundation of the Republican Party in one very simple sound bite. By letting the mask slip, he also made clear that the "compassionate conservative" line was the complete joke that we all knew it to be. So please, keep talking and please keep letting the public know who the Republicans are and why they are so wrong for this country.

2. He may as well have said,
"Anyone who relys on government help are sub-human vermin who need to be exterminated in concentration camps." It's the same thing.

7. While we are at it, add the govt reps who are stuck the govt's teat.. Add their
CIA-Narco-Terrorist Group for first in line at the concentration doors. Sorry, too many other's have squandered more money for the general public than a few welfare recipients could ever hope to score.

10. The saddest part is that some people believe that......
and many our in Congress right now, not wanting for the "Stray Cats" to get any health coverage.

It's a sickness, and perhaps the fact that it runs so deep is why we Democrats,
tend to attack Democrats more than the obviously out of reach (cause they are so far out there)Republicans.

See, this thread should have at least 10 dupes on various boards...
but instead, we focus on diminishing our own...
and yet it is exactly these Republicans folks like Bauer that will end up winning the argument via the propaganda of corporation media and will have the voters ears!
