The Democrat Party
RW loons are so careful to always say Democrat party instead of Democratic party that it has taken a toll.

On TV today DeMint was talking about the SC ruling and how money affects "our democrat process."

3. It's no less juvenile and stupid when so many people here insist on constantly saying
"Repuke", "Repug", "Pug", "Puke", "Rethug" etc.

5. You think people venting on a discussion board is a standard for a U.S. Senator?
Really?

9. LOL.
I stopped saying "repuke" a long time ago. I did not want it to slip out at the wrong time. It is childish, too.

I called Bush all sorts of names privately. I call our Congressman "That Stupid Manzullo."

But I write lots of LTTEs. It is important to maintain decorum when doing that. And it is important to maintain some level of civility when speaking to people about politicians and public figures. If we are too negative, they tune us out. And most of the people you will talk to don't take all this as personally as we do here at DU. They can be free with their opinions, but are often quite uninformed. If they are voters, they start paying attention about two weeks before a primary, and after Labor Day if there is a general election.

Let the republicans be guilty of disrespect. Correct them politely but firmly when they call us the Democrat Party. Challenge their other framing politely but firmly. I have shocked a few people here locally when I have done that. They don't realize what they are saying or believing. They haven't thought about it. And, sadly, they don't expect us to fight back.

6. Wow, he's such an idiot he thinks it is grammatical
So if he says it of the party, he's not even trying to be insulting. He actually thinks that is the right way to say it.

8. Can't wait til they start doing that to all words.
They really will sound more and more illiterate."The Democrat Party is undermining our efforts to act in a bipartis way by refusing to accept our histor challenge in the face of this meteor rise in spending in a time of explode deficits."

13. Can you even fricking READ? This topic has never been done before. Ever.
The topic is RW the use of the word democrat as a tic when trying to come up with (small D) "democratic."

You don't read. You don't think. And skipping those two functions apparently leaves you extra time to post preening arrogant self-serving drivel in a thread you don't seem able or inclined to comprehend.

14. Ha! Serves him right.
I thought they'd given up on that a while ago. I remember Tweety chiding someone for doing it and they stopped. I take it they've picked it up again.
