Tonight's State of the Union schedule

Here's the schedule for tonight's State of the Union address:

8:10 p.m.: Diplomatic corps enters the House Chamber

8:35 p.m.: Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) calls the House to order

8:35 p.m.: Barry Sullivan, Majority Floor Services Chief, announces the Senate, preceded by its officers and Vice President Joe Biden. The Speaker calls the Joint Session to order.

8:40 p.m.: Joint Chiefs enter the House Chamber

8:47 p.m.: The Speaker and Vice President appoint members from their respective chambers to the Escort Committee for President Barack Obama

8:50 p.m.: Jill Biden is escorted into the Executive Gallery

8:53 p.m.: Sullivan announces the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, the ambassador of the Republic of Djibouti, His Excellency Roble Olhaye

8:55 p.m.: Sullivan announces the Supreme Court

8:57 p.m.: First Lady Michelle Obama is escorted into the Executive Gallery

8:59 p.m.: Sullivan announces the president's Cabinet

9:01 p.m.: Sullivan announces "Madame Speaker," and then steps to the side. Wilson Livinghood, House Sergeant at Arms, immediately follows to declare "the President of the United States." The Escort Committee leads the president into the chamber, where he shakes hands with members along the center aisle on his way to the rostrum.

9:05 p.m.: Speaker introduces the president to senators and representatives

9:06 p.m.: President begins speech

9:50 p.m.: President concludes speech

9:52 p.m.: President leaves the chamber followed by the Supreme Court, Cabinet and Diplomatic Corps

2. I immediately turn off the TV after he speaks
and that's what I have done under previous presidents too.

3. C-SPAN is the only way to watch if you want to keep your sanity
and not have your head filled with bloviating bullshit from the bullshit masters on every cable channel,.

9:08 p.m.: President begins speech

9:10 p.m.: First "You LIE!" interjection by Rep. Joe Wilson in response to President's assessment of nation

9:12 p.m.: C-SPAN tight shot of shit-eating grin on Sen. Joe Lieberman's face as President mentions health insurance reform

9:20 p.m.: President announces spending freeze proposal, House Democrats murmur in disapproval

9:22 p.m.: President assures no freeze on DHS spending, Sen. Joe Lieberman wets himself in delight

9:25 p.m.: President honors responders for Fort Hood shooting

9:26 p.m.: Second "You LIE!" interjection by Rep. Joe Wilson in response to nothing in particular

9:30 p.m.: President announces jobs program initiative

9:35 p.m.: Rep. Louie Gohmert holds up sign saying "Where's the Birth Certificate?"

9:40 p.m.: President announces proposed curbs on corporate funding of campaigns, Supreme Court shifts noisily in seats

9:41 p.m.: Rep. Virginia Fox holds up sign saying "Palin 2012 - Sponsored By Exxon/Mobil"

9:42 p.m.: Rep. Joe Wilson tells Rep. Virginia Fox "You LIE!" and waves Confederate flag before being removed from chambers

9:50 p.m.: President concludes speech, takes two Excedrin before leaving podium

9:55 p.m.: Republican Response delivered by Glenn Beck using a chalkboard, abacus, and Etch-a-Sketch

ie. the cabinet member who's "in a safe location" incase something bad happens?

10. Why didn't he speak earlier
that way two dumb shows wouldn't be on and we could still see Criminal Minds. But then all we have to do is scan the republican side of the house and see ALL THE CRIMINAL MINDS.
