Well, I Sure Had An Interesting Day Today

At lunch, I saw that I had an envelope from the White House. Remember "Little Barack"? Well, Michelle Obama answered his letter, and sent several pictures which were signed. I had "Little Barack" as a student last year, and was able to get he and his mom tickets to see the President. Long story. Wish I could find the original link. I showed LB the pictures, and was going to give them all to him, and the letter, but he said "We should put them in the office Mrs. D." I talked to my principal, and that's just what we're going to do, the letters and pictures on display. I did have some duplicate picures and gave them to him, and he was thrilled. In other words, I had a great day!

4. I remember your story on this....as it was a wonderful one, Lil' Barack is such a cutie!

and it is a testament to your encouragement, little Barack's dream and Michelle's conscientious thoughtfulness, and demonstrates that this White House really is "reachable" to ordinary and extraordinary Americans, and that for sure does this country good.
