Georgetown today issued a press release asking fans to plan on arriving at Verizon Center 45 minutes earlier than usual for the Duke game tomorrow "due to the number of dignitaries expected to be in attendance, there will be enhanced security at the entrances to the arena."
One of the fans in attendance will be President Obama, according to The Hill.
It's not just the showdown between two top teams that has Obama interested, as the two schools will announce at halftime a partnership that will help education efforts in Darfur refugee camps.
Obama, a big college basketball fan, recently called Kentucky to thank the team for its efforts in raising money for relief in Haiti. He also attended the Oregon State-George Washington game in November to check out brother-in-law Craig Robinson's Beavers team.
