POTUS sat just feet from the court in a cushioned folding chair, pool reports, just to the right of a line of shirtless students in gray and blue body paint screaming out their support for the home team. After one of those fans began a r-rated chant following a referee’s call he disapproved of, another student cut him off: "Dude, the President of the United States is right there!"

... is that Barack Obama and Joe Biden are probably the two most gregarious people in DC. Some might disagree with their politics, but all indication is that they're just genuinely likable men.

4. This is just my opinion of course

but Jeb is very unattractive physically. And that matters in politics. Plus, no matter how the corporate media spins it, the nation is finished with anything called Bush.

14. I need reassuring....

.... since Jeb is a moderate and "the good Bush" I'm fearful that by 2012, the fickle electorate will forget about his brother and he'll be a contender. I used to worry about him and Thune.

But depending on what Scott Brown does, I think we may not have to worry about Bush or Thune.

Fortunately, this is ultimately Obama's game to lose ... the ONLY person who can beat him is himself. The last two weeks have proven he's not about to let that happen.

10. Simply can not see enough pix

of our President out and about like a regular guy. He's fantastic.

After the election I put together an album starting with the his early life, college years, campaign, convention, election night and of course January 20th. Also added some pix of campaign buttons, magazine front pages, caricatures, and historical trivia such as the use of the Lincoln Bible used for taking the Oath of Office.

The last part contained a few biographical pages and pix of MLK and Rosa Parks. Put it all together in a leather album with had a cutout portion on the cover for the official Presidential portrait and gave it to my a friend. She and her Mom were thrilled.

Added this quote heard on NPR. "Rosa sat so Martin could walk, Martin walked so Obman could run. Obama ran so our children can fly".

I swipped a lot of the pix posted by DU'ers :evilgrin: So thanks to all who post pix. I still swipe'em ;)

Esp. the one of him slappin' skin with Hunter. The two guys behind him aren't what we'd consider the typical Obama supporters but they're eatin' it up.

I'm an avid supporter so maybe it doesn't count but, whenever I see him I get this big grin on my face. He's very affable.

As for the pix link and tips noted and bookmarked. Will need more pix for the second album which will be his first term. Then again for his second term.
