My take on the impact of the President's health care reform summit
As a result, those who want the health care bill to fail are a little more depressed and those who want it to pass are a lot more encouraged.

3. Yeah
At the end you could see it in their faces. Once again the republicans looked like they once again failed to make the president look bad, which I feel is always their main goal. I didn't see the whole thing because I got tired of the commentary on MSNBC and CNN. I could have watched online, but since the weather here has been like spring time for the last month, I thought I would get some yard work done. I caught the last 45 minutes, and now am trying to listen to the MSNBC program, but not sure how long I can take the commentary once again! !

5. Republican dissent has always been apparent. The far
left dissent is what the OP is referring to, I think.

4. I'm waiting for polls on this
before I start figuring out who "won". I hold the opposite view, surely Limpballs and Vannity will spin the GOP statements as "standing up to the President".

I strongly suspect that each side will have solidified its views as a result of this, and Blue Dogs will be just as scared to vote for anything with the label HCR as they were the day after the MA election.
