Pelosi's spokesman corrects Fox Noise distortion about health care bill

* Nancy Pelosi’s office is pushing back hard on a Fox News report, spreading rapidly on the right, that she said the bill Obama will introduce Wednesday will be “much smaller” than either the House or Senate proposals.

Pelosi spokesman Brendan Daly says she was saying the new proposal would be similar to the proposal reconciling the House and Senate bills that Obama recently unveiled, which was much shorter in page length than the bills themselves. “The Speaker was referring to the compromise between the House and the Senate that the President unveiled last week — not a new smaller bill,” Daly says.
