ICU for several months now. Not clear about exactly what it is but he is having problems with his kidneys and infections, that Keith did mention. They thought last weekend was the end but last night at the end of the show he said he was maybe improving. His dad has been suffering a lot and wanted it to end.

Before, he kept pronouncing the bill dead, now he's doing everything to throw doubt on reconciliation.

as well as a former technical consultant for the show West Wing. His creds stem from his time as Dem Chief of Staff for the Senate Finance Committee during the Clinton years.

11. He's great except when he's making things up about the current HCR bills...

he seems to not be over the fact that they couldn't get it done under Clinton-to the point he doesn't seem to want THIS president to get it done. He has claimed that Clinton came closer to passing HCR than Obama which is factually false. He has also claimed that you still need 60 votes in order to pass reconciliation which is also factually false. He should be happy this bill will pass instead of being bitter about the past. Besides that, he's great on other issues.
