How could I forget that Phil Hartman played Ronald Reagan so well on SNL?

Phil Hartman couldn't make this great reunion because he was shot to death by his wife as he slept in 1998.

I always really loved Hartman.

2. I loved Phil Hartman's Reagan, but I also love Carrey's Reagan.

His is much more creepy than Hartman's version.

It makes sense because Reagan was much more creepy than how Hartman portrayed him.

It was always a joy to watch him whatever he was doing.

His Reagan was wonderful.

That entire cast is magnificent. SNL stars all the way back to the beginning of the show in 1976. Chevy Chase and Dan Ackyroyd were the comic hero's of my youth! Saturday watching SNL live was mandatory for my entire college career. From the joy of youth and starting out to middle aged economic laid off oblivion. At least I still have Danny and Chevy. (Chevy is currently part of an ensemble sit com that I find really good. It stars that Talk Soup guy, who make's a sympathetic creep.

I always loved Dan's stuff, but he seemed to make some poor choices in his movie career. (One good choice was starring in Michael Moore's Canadian Bacon. An utterly sweet and charming for entertainment movie. Perhaps the only non-documentary in Michael's entire film career?)

I like Ron Howard a hell of a lot, but assembling all these greats for this one flick is awesome! Nice that it's for a good cause, also!

Mr. Hartman was killed by his wife so he is not really played anymore - bad memories and mojo and whatnot. He has faded from our conciousness.

So if you do not see him regularly then the memory fades. Or that is at least what the neuroscientists say..
