Just saw Sen Bayh (D,IN) on WGN saying on HCR, we need to focus on substance, not process; and that
and the bill needs to be passed and fixed later. That seems like a big switch and surprising since he is one of those blue dog types.

1. Bayh wants to be on the right side of history...
and is no longer compelled to bow to political whims. There. That's the best I can say about him. I'll be happy if he votes for reconiliation then gets the hell out.

5. Recall that Bayh will be joining the Health Industry shortly -- of course he wants this to pass.
The bill as it stands is more a giveaway. Bayh is expected to leave the Senate and join the industry as is currently his wife. They have made millions from the Heath Industry thusfar and his new found desire to help it is only to further his career in the industry. It's an expected move. Chris Dodd is doing the same thing.

8. Can't shaft the industry with their co-operation, or their minions. Let's get the exchange up, and
add the national extension to the exchange, public option asap. Extending Medicare to 55 should be paramount to this election cycle though.
