A new Public Policy Polling survey in Florida finds Marco Rubio (R) leading Gov. Charlie Crist (R) in their U.S. Senate race by an astounding 32 points, 60% to 28%.

"Our general election Senate numbers, which we'll release tomorrow, find that Crist is a good deal more popular with Democrats now than he is with Republicans. His path to any future electoral victory may come as an independent or perhaps even as a Democrat."

because according to wiki, fascism has to do with central authority.
Rubio is more of a libertarian type who believes in capitalism without
restraints of any kind, much less central authority from the feds.

One needs to understand the hatred the Cuban elite has for the common man. The early Cuban exiles who came from the few upper middle class families that existed before Castro, feel betrayed by the poor and working class. Like the present day many wealthy and upper middle class people are out of touch with struggling mainstream working class people. This resentment explains the Balart brothers, Mel Martinez and many other conservative Cubans who embrace the GOP despite the fact that the party supports racists.

Don't be fooled, this I am more conservative than you game the GOP is playing is only to fool the dumbest among the GOP to vote for Rubio. He is no fiscal conservative, but another republican elitist who will kill good government programs by de-funding them, then calling government programs a failure. However his local base of poor elderly Cubans will continue to get a few scraps of government cheese and upper middle class Cubans will be guaranteed a supply of illegal aliens as maids and cheap labor.

A fascist like Hitler or Mussolini believes in corporatism under the control
of the central government. This Rubio dude believes in free for all capitalism
with NO CONTROLS from the central government. I am not sure what term defines him,
but it is not fascist.

6. Florida election law, gives about a 3 day qualifying window.

It may be April 30th this year. Two years ago it was in early May. You have to be filed and qualified by that date, by party, or even as a write-in. If not qualified by that date, even votes for a write-in candidate are not counted. Mickey Mouse won too many elections.

He's not term limited yet, but I don't know when he would have had to file.

I hope it is too late, because I really like Alex Sink and she'd have a much harder time against him than McCullum.
