Shame on ANY of you who say Kucinich should be Primaried

Like him or hate him he is a TRUE PROGRESSIVE that does not compromise on his values. To say he should be primaried is shameful when there are numerous corporate democrats existing in the party that don't receive this same intensity or vile comments. They are the ones that deserve to be primaried for selling out their vote to corporate america. Kucinich wants what is best for America. We all share his core beliefs (at least i hope). His approach may be debatable but his underlying hopes should never be questioned...it's an insult to the Progressive movement.

Have we gone so far right that we as the people have forgotten that Progressives are the heroes?

Without compromise, he's effectively a spoiler. The Constitution was built on compromise. The best portions of the Constitution were the result of compromise.

No one is 100% right 100% of the time. That's why compromise exists in the first place.

As an individual, I love Kuch. As an individual, I respect him highly for not compromising his principles. But as a representative of his people, he might as well be fighting for the other side. As the saying goes, "the road to Hell is paved with good intentions".

As much as I love Kuch, personally - he's gotta go. He's an obstructionist.

He's all yours if you want him, but I would be looking for someone a little more effective, like Alan Grayson, if I lived in that district.

Kucinich does more harm than good to the Progressive cause because he doesn't know when to stop and he's too condescending and abrasive in his approach to fellow Democrats. He comes off a little on the nutty side because he doesn't know how to make an effective and realistic argument.

As for primary challenges generally, the system is engineered to permit any candidate to mount a primary challenge to an incumbent.

That means a more progressive Democrat could have challenged Evan Bayh or Ben Nelson; or a more conservative Democrat could primary Barbara Boxer or Russ Feingold.

Works in the lower chamber as well. Them's the rules.

No shame is involved for a U.S. citizen who votes for one or another of two party candidates legally and validly vying for their party's nomination.

Kucinich has run more than once in the Democratic Presidential primary and has not fared well.
