Like the bailout in 2008.

4. It did affect their day to day lives

The bailout was the exact same thing Hoover was doing in 1931. Many of the banks that took government money still failed then and the same will happen now.


And this may not affect their day to day lives in a good way. Being told that you're losing up to 15% of your after tax income that you did not previously is probably not going to be viewed as a good thing by most who have to do it.

6. The public may not care for GOP, but they ain't buying Obama's health care argument

Poll numbers will tank once the public realizes that there is going to be no public option in the reconciliation bill.

A clear majority is opposed to the Senate's HCR.

Had the House version were the one to become law, we would be seeing better numbers, and we wouldn't be having this conversation.

15. I believe 13% of the 48.9% opposed to HCR are opposed because they want MORE robust reform

add that 13% to the 41.3% in favor of reform and we have 54% in favor of reform and 35.9% in favor of the status quo.
