Kucinich To Announce His Vote On Health Care Wednesday

Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-OH), who's on the record saying he'll vote "no" on a health care bill without a public option, will announce his vote tomorrow morning at 10:00 AM, EST.

According to a press release from his office, Kucinich is ready to give his final decision on the health care bill from the Capitol Building.

Democrats have been pushing Kucinich to vote "yes." Just yesterday at an event in Ohio, President Obama responded to an audience member yelling out "Vote Yes!" by laughing and saying, "Did you hear that, Dennis?"

And unless Kucinich is now changing his vote to "yes" after spending time with Obama yesterday, it does seem a little odd to announce a decision he's already made. Though you never know...

Either way, Kucinich's announcement will be closely watched as House Democrats try to round up the 216 votes they need to pass the Senate's health care bill.

You really shouldn't be so afraid for America to hear populist speak. The country is marching ever leftward anyway, so it is inevitable that the era of the ConservaDem will come to a close at some point. It's not necessary that the conservative point of view be given sole access to the citizens.
