Insiders Expect Health Care Bill to Pass

The latest National Journal Political Insiders Poll finds that on a scale of 0 to 10 -- with zero being no chance at all -- the average score Democratic insiders gave for chances of the health care bill passing was 7.9 and for GOP insiders was 6.5.

2. I DO like those numbers...
if even the GOP insiders are giving it a 6.5 then it certainly is looking good for passage!

Thanks for this, it is much appreciated.

Recommended.

3. With the CBO scores showing the amount of deficit reduction that
the bill is capable of, I think the undecided House Dems that were waiting for the scores probably will start moving into the yes column today and tomorrow.

4. The importance of holding the majority in the House and Senate cannot be over stated

The Health Care bill is going to pass. Each year that follows the bill will be amended in Congress. Those amendments need to be written and implemented by Democrats, not Republicans. The next four or five years will be critical to us, we have to improve this bill and not let the Republicans gut it.
