Yes he went way too far but when you think about it i know that when Obama has gone onto the other shows they have always been combative towards him and never Bush/Cheney/Palin/etc. If they are not emotional and attacking them then i think their viewers will be pissed and the person could risk being demoted.

Granted Baier went a further by constant interruptions which is very rude but for Fox viewers he is now a rising star for them because for them Obama giving facts is meaningless....they are never about facts....just "string him up already" is their mentality.

Baier was treating the president like 3/5 of a human being (no rights -- not even to speak) and in so doing became the new grandwizard in these viewers minds: a job well done.

His rude attacks will likely make him the go to guy for other democrat interviews because viewers responded positively to him. And for Baier this means a bigger paycheck. Sure he could be combative and not always interrupt but since everyone else on Fox is doing this he just stepped it up to be noticed....and he certainly got noticed.
