The Next 72 Hours: This historic moment, and what are you watching?
Edited on Thu Mar-18-10 06:40 PM by Mike 03
I am checking out CNN and CSPAN, but what I want to know is, are we looking toward all niters in the Senate or Congress, or can we watch the House Committee on Rules in action (one of my favorite committees, but they usually don't permit camera coverage)?

I don't want to miss a second of this drama, but I am not sure where the action is.

The bottom line, those of you who are as obsessed as some of us are with watching every moment of this historic weekend--the fight to pass health care reform--what are you all watching?

Any recommendations, especially for those of you who are just online.

Please--they would be very much appreciated.

6. You know, when you only have over the air tv there's always something to watch.
It may not be great, but having fewer choices does make life more simple. Besides, when I had cable and satellite with my constant channel surfing I never saw a complete program or movie.

14. NCAA Tourney!!
I saw a disturbing news report last night. It was a urologist talking about how many vasectomies they do each year the before the first weekend of the tourney. The trailer for the story asked what frozen green peas and the NCAA tournament had in common. Then the doc explained that the guys are instructed to relax over the weekend and ice their nads... bags of frozen green peas are recommended! I'll never view a package of frozen green peas the same again! :smoke:

18. That's interesting ... It will be NCAA, Spongebob and the vote ...
at our household ...

NCAA when Pitt is playing, Spongebob or someother kids tune when the kids get control of the tube, and I will definitely try to get the vote on when it starts ...

24. I'm sorry Mike 03 for all the nasty, snarky answers you received
to a very polite request for information.

Beyond the channels you mentioned I'm not sure where else to watch. Maybe the WH website?
