Hmm. Tea Party gets 24/7 coverage ad nauseum - but tonight, hardly a word about them

Interesting.
Could it be that the "liberal" media is a little embarrassed that the monster they helped to create is now showing its true colors?
Of course, many of us have seen those colors all along, but have been told by the press and others that we were overreacting. Does the press recognize that today's incident makes them look as ridiculous as it makes the Tea Partiers and their supporters look disgraceful?

1. No. It must be because they don't think coverage will bring ratings. They'll never be embarrassed. |

2. Maybe "embarrassed" is the wrong word. "Busted" is more appropriate |
|
And they NEVER admit to being busted. They're always right and they're always fair. :sarcasm:

4. Maybe if they covered the horrific goings-on today, it would piss off their |
|
base, and they wouldn't want to do that.
I don't think they care one whit what they cover or how they cover it, as long as the advertisers keep buying time.
We don't have news agencies any more, but we all know that.

6. Random thought - the lack of coverage now is because it goes against their agenda |
|
Imagine this was still the Bush era and they were on the virge of a legislative victory - but it was close and a group on the left did something totally awful - such as the things done today. The incidents would have gotten non-stop coverage - and the fact that it was not all protesters, and it was protesters not the legislation would be ignored.
Question - why did they ever give credibility to them. Just because some of them seemed like everyday people - no surprise, the same was true of those of us who protested the Iraq war.

3. Chickenshit media. Instead of calling them out or just reporting what happened, |
|
they skip it. God forbid they embarrass the racist haters. We can't have that.
CNN did talk about it this afternoon, but it should be big news. Can you imagine if a Democrat spit on a Republican congressman, or called him a vile name? It'd be Rev. Wright all over again.
