"this flawed healthcare bill" and Frau Blucher - coincidence?
Virtually every wingnut rep who asked for unanimous consent to revise and extend remarks said against "this flawed healthcare bill" like it was a script implanted in a tooth that was triggered when they touched the podium. It was, well, just silly, and for some reason reminded me of Frau Blucher in Young Frankenstein:

5. As a matter of fact, the resemblance between Frau Blucher and Jean Schmidt (OH-02) is striking!

6. It was like they were taking a pledge or something.
Insurance company/big pharma lobby: "In order to receive contributions from our PACs, you must say these exact words on the House floor."

At one point, the Democratic Congressman in charge of alloting time said that he saw a "conga line forming" on the Republican side so he would let them go out of turn.
