He went as far as to reject his own bill on the floor. You see, the Repubs kept saying Stupak amendment should say they said it like 3 times and used his name. When he went on the floor they were all clapping thinking he was going to support their motion. He ends up rejecting and basically removing his amendment from the floor. It's unprecedented---or I think it is. I've never seen anything like it before.
