Poll question: Poll: Will Tonight's Events Change the Way the MSM Talks about the President?

Here's my first-ever poll .... thoughts?

Will tonight's events changes the way the MSM talks about the President? Will they be less apt to criticize, more patient with his agenda and less likely to declare him a failure in future endeavors?

... I dont say "hell" ... I say a lot of bad words (we all have our thorn in the flesh lol) but "hell" is not one of them. I know, it's weird.

7. Good poll. I hope it is number one but I'm sure it will be number two.

It's only acceptable and patriotic to support the president when they are a republicon. It is only patriotic and acceptable to question and berate the president when they are a Democrat. Doesn't make sense. Had the pukes put forward this identical piece of legislation the MSM and all people would be behind it and say what a great step forward it is. But since it was a dems who did it it is socialism.

They simply can't argue that he has had little success. Now, that was true even before this, as passing the stimulus and the budget with all they did for a still weak economy, but the Republicans made healthcare the test - and he passed.

Whether the media likes it or not, this makes Obama a transformational President. The fact that he also will likely be the President who signs the strongest new Financial regulations since the 1930s - not hard, as there were none only things that weakened regulations. Then, at some point, he might get credit for the stimulus. Within the stimulus, the high speed rail, which would have been a signature effort by most Presidents, is simply another part of the bill. He might also be the first President able to sign into law a bill that, although likely weaker than many including its likely lead sponsor would like, will be the first to price carbon emissions - a key to slowing down climate change.

Remember the FDR allusions when he was nominated, he may well earn them.

10. Yeah but it's not so much the notion that he hasn't done anything that I'm thinking about...

.... its the constant questioning of his rationale or approach.

Sure, some call me a Kool Aid drinking cheerleader, and I am ... but I really believe that he is a politician unlike we have seen in our lifetimes.

He got this thing done through patience, determination, and a desire to bring all sides to the table. (Sure, he did it w/out Republican support, but he had to ultimately broker a deal between the two halves of the Democratic party, which is saying a lot.)

He got it done by doing exactly what I felt he was doing all along.

While I may not always understand or even agree, I trust his judgement and his approach implicitly. Last night just confirmed my feelings.

Some may call it "blind faith" but I dare anyone to offer a better way.

11. I agree completely - and that was the gist of both Kennedy's and Kerry's incredible

endorsements back in early 2008 - in addition to the international impact. These endorsements were made when he was still the underdog - even after winning Iowa.

I don't think he, or anyone will always be right, but I do think that his motivation is right, his world view is one I agree with, he is both articulate and eloquent, and from what already has been done, he has the leadership skills to get things passed. What more can you ask for?
