Socialism: Day One
Got up this morning and checked final basketball scores. My brackets are totally screwed.

Went to DU to read about Republicans pissing and moaning. Morans.

Made breakfast.

Savored coffee knowing that 32 million of my fellow citizens are about to be covered by health insurance.

I could get used to this...

10. Well, there's these five guys...
So you're Obama and picked Kansas to win it all.

Aide: Mr. President, the House passed Health Care Reform.
Obama: Hooray!
Aide: But Mr. President, Kansas lost to UNI and your brackets are screwed.
Obama: Shit! I'm going to owe Rahm $10!

11. I LOVE northern Iowa
It's where I go for vacation every summer to do some fishing. I grew up around Okoboji. I know all the back roads and all the obscure fishing spots, and if I had my way, I'd move back there.

13. Cornell? By 18 Points?!
Isn't that like losing to one of those Art Schools that advertise on the back of matchbook covers?

Showing my age with the reference, aren't I?
