  • Rescission, banned.

  • Denial based on Pre-exsiting condition, banned.

  • Americans with no income, covered.

  • Americans who can't afford coverage, subsidized.

  • 32,000,000 more Americans, covered.

  • Total 95 percent of Americans, covered.

that ain't no pony. That 5% are covered elsewhere by other systems.

2. Nearly half of the remaining 18 million
are undocumented immigrants, who in this country are eligible for emergency Medicaid. No country provides coverage for undocumented imigrants. The rest are people who will opt out of the system. Among other countries that have achieved above 97 percent coverage, this is a great start for the U.S.

5. Some of that 5% are the estimated number of low income people that will voluntarily opt out.

4. My uninsured brother who was denied because of a pre existing condition is now eligible
for medicaid.

He is covered
