Road House rules
Edited on Thu Mar-25-10 05:09 PM by Armstead
Anybody want to fess up to watching that cheesy but entertaining movie Road House starring Patrick Swayze?

If so this will be familiar. It seems especially appropriate for Democrats in the current political context,as the GOP and the rest of the right-wing behave increasingly like barroom thugs.

Swayze, a tough-but-zenlike bouncer for hire,is laying out the groundrules for the rest of the security staff of a sleazy tavern whose owner is trying to clean it up. He's telling them how to behave with customers.

"If someone calls you a name...Be Nice. If someone shoves you.....Be Nice. If someone threatens you....Be Nice...... What I want you to do is to Be Nice......Until it's time NOT to be nice."
