SALISBURY — Rob Fisher, an Eastern Shore native who owns a cyber-security firm that does business in Washington, announced today that he will seek the Republican nomination for the Maryland 1st District Congressional seat.
Fisher said he is opposed to the job-killing legislation that Congress has been ramming down the throats of taxpayers. He experienced some of it, he said, with his company Secure Infrastructure Solutions; however, his company was able to grow in spite of the government policies.
"Maryland deserves a representative with real-world experience who will put people ahead of party and bring an entrepreneurial spirit to Congress," Fisher said in a news release.
