Would the GOP go so far as to not ratify the Treaty even though Gates and Others worked on it?
I thing this would be the lowest of lows for them if they did this.

3. As much as I'm sure they'd love to say NO, I doubt they will.
There's far too much public support for such a treaty & they don't really have time to scuttle it like they did HC.

4. I agree.
They are stupid, but not that stupid! If they played their games with this issue they would be done for! I could see the ads come election time if the did. Nope they won't fight this, and I really think that some of them will start to actually work with the democrats and president Obama, at least until after the elections.

5. If it wasn't so important that the treaty pass, I'd almost want to see them resist passing it.
Just to further expose themselves for what they are.
