The original teabagger....
Edited on Fri Mar-26-10 09:45 PM by scheming daemons

Am I out of bounds?

Too fucking bad.

I've heard enough from them over the past few months, and especially the past few days, to know that this is who they want to emulate.

All of them? Certainly not. Probably not even 1% of them.

But enough of them.

5. Ugly mofooking domestic terrorist.
The media should be bringing this up as to what happens when teabaggers go ballistic..like that stupid road rager today when he saw an Obama sticker in Tennessee. He used his car as a weapon.

Here's why:

1)They are provoked by an anti-governmental stance that is precipitated by an event, just like McVeigh. (Ruby-Ridge and Waco in the case of McVeigh)

2)They want to "destroy" the current government without a clear idea of what a new type of governance system would be, just like McVeigh.

3) They are also folks who don't have a good grasp of history or concepts of politics, like McVeigh.

4)Furthermore, their taste for vulgarity and violence knows no bounds, especially when dealing with a cadre of weapons, like McVeigh.

5) If they have a philosophy at all, it centers around separatist and racist beliefs, masked by being concerned about fiscal spending. Ultimately, they are a group in which their sentiment is easily swayed by right wing demogoguery. (The Turner Diaries, for McVeigh; the election of Obama, the bail out of the banks and the passage of health care reform, for the Teabaggers.)

6)Because of their unchecked anger (like McVeigh), they are setting themselves up for an endgame which produces a frightening scenario. This is especially the case when it has to do with their virulent anger against people of color and anyone else who doesn't fit their restrictive views of what is "American". That's why McVeigh plays right into their concept of "revolt" against the current government.

Heck if they truly did care about government, where were they when Bush disregarded the Constitution and was messing with our civil rights? If they are that disgusted with government, they should be rabidly furious at Bush and his inanity the last eight years. They should also want to bring him to justice in front of the World Courts as a War Criminal.

But the Teabaggers are only running rampant of their fear of a society in which they will truly have to deal with change and the matter that they can't go back to a simpler, monolithic time.
