Another big hint that Maryland Republican Bob Ehrlich will soon launch a bid to reclaim the governor's office he lost in 2006: The Baltimore Sun interview in which Ehrlich says, "I have missed being part of the debate. I have been frustrated by the policy decisions in Annapolis and on Capitol Hill."
Ehrlich has stayed visible since leaving office by doing a weekly radio talk show on Baltimore radio station WBAL along with his wife, former Maryland first lady Kendel Ehrlich, and by making numerous public appearances.
But that may not be enough for Ehrlich, who -- after eight years in Congress (1995-2003), four years as governor and most than three years on the political sidelines -- still is only 52 years old. "The radio show, the speeches and all that - I can get my message out there," Ehrlich told the newspaper, "But in this business, you're either in or you're out."
