I noticed they didn't pick a pic of Obama where he was being mobbed and interacting w/ the troops.

3. And the comments underneath are only
reflecting what they see in this "newspaper" that is clearly trying to manipulate the "news".

I've seen pictures of President Obama on this trip where he was being mobbed as was bush.

Some poor guy in his comment said he missed bush more every day:cry:

4. The LA Times, such a sad demise.
I grew up with it from the 1940's when I was old enough to open and read the comic page, and in my old age went out of my way to get a hold of copies no matter where I was at the time. When my husband and I had to finally settle down into one spot, I drove three miles every day to pick up a copy. Then one day we started noticing some change. Our favorite political cartoonist, Conrad, was replaced by a rw tool, whose name I don't even remember. Then our favorite editorial page contributors started disappearing, one by one. My husband still enjoyed the crossword puzzle, but he didn't read the rest of it. He said it wasn't interesting anymore. When he died, I didn't bother to get it either. It had become no different than the other fish wrappers out there. It wasn't the newspaper I had grown up with, and old with.

17. Cartoonist was Ramirez, I believe
Michael Ramirez was the far-right and decidedly unfunny cartoonist who replaced Conrad.

His cartoons consisted mainly of drawing unflattering pictures of Democrats and calling them poopy heads. OK, maybe not the words he used, but it was no more sophisticated than that. He was truly awful.

6. HA!
Read some of the comments? I love the one that states (seriously, I think) that of course the troops like Dubya better because he's a VETERAN!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA! Yea, a veteran. That's our Dubya. A real soldier. Mission accomplished.

Ridiculous. I watched the reception Obama got as it happened on TV. He absolutely had soldiers reaching out for him. And he reached back. Leave it to the LA Times to post such a ridiculous comparison. It's beyond disgusting.

14. I saw that too...the blood is boiling from
all the propaganda being pushed that has nothing to do with reality. Freakin' big brother andrew malcom.."whose parents stressed the importance of getting involved in Democracy"! HA! Orwellian bullshit.

16. Because it turns out that andrew malcom
is a rw tool and manipulated this shyte.

I imagine if I got on his blog tomorrow that my comments wouldn't past moderation even though they would just be some facts and a link to the real full story pics of Pres Obama in Afghanistan.

Oh, and maybe a reality check of the AWOL bushtang.
