New Rasmussen Poll: President's Approval Rating Dips to 32%

Rasmussen Reports Incorporated has, this morning, released the results of its latest survey, and the news is not good for President John McCain.

According to Rasmussen's numbers, President McCain has suffered a precipitous drop of fourteen percentage points, from a 46% approval rating on Feb. 26 to a new low of 32% in a poll conducted March 27-29 among Americans who have had a substantial portion of their brain matter shot out in a recent hunting accident.

On the other hand, Vice President Sarah Palin's ratings were consistent, maintaining a 68% approval rating in the same survey.

However, Glenk Feck, the Rasmussen Director in Charge of Slanting, reports that the poll did contain some truly disturbing results.

"A substantial number of respondents replied, 'What the fuck are you talking about??? Barack Obama is the President!'" said Feck, shaking his head sadly.

Franz Kunts, a Republican pollster, says that some people simply do not believe that John McCain is actually the President of the United States.

"Many of these darki---um, er, non-Caucasians, as well as bit---ah, women simply refuse to accept that a mavericky maverick like McCain could be the leader of their country.

"Unfortunately, as you know, we've seen these birthers, constantly harping on President McCain's origins in the Panama Canal Zone, despite numerous legal rulings declaring that he is, indeed, Constitutionally eligible to be the Commander-in-Chief," Kunts added.

Meanwhile, Vice President Palin remains the most popular member of the McCain Administration. Rasmussen's results clearly show that she suffered no political damage from the "Dog Dinner" incident, in which she shot, cooked, and served for supper a collie after mistaking it for a wolf.
