2. I'm not wringing my hands. I'm wondering why Gallup would be lower than the lowest
outlier poll-Rasmussen. That's all.

3. don't think she's a hand-wringer.
it's the fact that ras has him at 48% that stands out. basically if gallup is saying 45% then the expectation is that ras would be around 38% not 48%.

Numbers are in 2012 when he is up for reelection and which Republican he is up against.

12. Polls go up and they go down.
It's cyclical. Worry about it a week before the next election if they are this low. Now it's too soon to care.

13. polls are not a true measure of public opinion, they are a means to affect public opinion
The MSM is in full-on assault mode against Obama.
It is their only hope of slowing him down.

14. Considering the state of the economy, 45% is a pretty good number.
In 2012, 45% would be awful, but with the unemployment rate at 9.7%, it's actually a pretty encouraging approval number.

the #'s went down on the weekend. They always seem to drop on the weekend with Gallup. Different type of people that are home. I think they will go back up shortly. Daily polls are enough to drive people crazy.
