Not really, over half of the REPUBLICANS say she is not qualified. Her numbers are really bad. The media is amused by her and obviously she gets ratings and reactions.

But I looked over at pollingreport.com - the more she is out there -- the higher her unfavorables and the lower her favorables get. http://pollingreport.com/p.htm (Remember "favorable" does not mean would you vote for her. Think of past elections and consider - more than 2 years out, how many of the Democrats you would respond "favorable" to. At this time in 2006, pollsters asked about Clinton, Gore, Kerry, Edwards, Obama and occasionally Warner. From memory, my apologies if I missed any. Without naming names, how many would you have said "favorable" to?

Also note the high number of "very negative". Usually people prefer not to pick that extreme - they have to REALLY dislike someone before going there.

I actually think she is attempting to provoke responses that are too strong by Obama and other Democrats to try to make them look worse. That might work against a McCain, but Obama stays cool.

I know people who really DO believe them! My neighbor's sister is a TRUE BELIEVER! She came down for a visit with her and I'm almost speechless by what comes out of her mouth! I won't even TRY to counter what she says with facts! My neighbor has gone so far as to actually SHOW her TRUTH, but it makes no difference!

Her sister seems normal, but we both see her as delusional. My neighbor actually came over and asked ME if I could help her get through to her sister. We are both Democrats, her sister is not!

I also have a sister who lives in Texas who is on par with this woman! I have 5 sisters, but only one that is a Repuke! We DON'T talk politics, and I know my sister isn't crazy! I grew up with her and she got a good education, but not only does she BELIEVE in both of them, she thought BUSH was "her guy!"

You would have to be in the room with a person who thinks of Palin this way, because believe me IT IS SCARY! Especially when you KNOW you can't even make them understand how much is MADE UP!
