http://www.pa2010.com/2010/04/specter-says-he-has-9m-on-hand/Senator Arlen Specter’s campaign again brought in less campaign cash than Republican Pat Toomey last quarter, but finished March with a healthy $9 million in the bank, his campaign said Thursday.
Quarterly campaign finance reports had yet to be published online Thursday, but Toomey’s campaign has said he raised a whopping $2.3 million during the first three months of 2010. Congressman Joe Sestak’s (D-7) campaign had yet to release his fundraising numbers.
Specter’s campaign said it raised about $1.1 million during the quarter. It started airing TV ads earlier this week, so it may already be back under $9 million in cash on hand.
Toomey said he finished the quarter with more than $4 million on hand, but he doesn’t face an expensive primary.
