Washington Times Runs Anti-Obama Monkey Birther Ad

ChattahBox)—The Washington Times, a conservative right-wing newspaper owned by Reverend Sun Myung Moon, recently ran an offensive full-page anti-Obama birther ad depicting three images of apes. The ad with racial undertones, says that President Obama is a usurper and a British citizen, under the British Nationality Act of 1948.

As noted out by Think Progress, the ad makes little sense, besides being racially charged:

“The Center for American Progress’ Ian Millhiser points out that if this rule were actually applied to the presidency, every foreign nation would have the power to remove the President of the United States simply by granting the president citizenship.”
