Alan Simpson, walk to the Oval Office of the White House in Washington, Tuesday, April 27, 2010, after the president spoke at a Rose Garden event where he stressed the importance of finding a bipartisan consensus on ways to improve America's long-term fiscal health and debt reduction.
(Since Mr. Bipartisan made a point of putting his hands on BOTH of their backs knowing the press would take a picture and publish it all over the globe, I'll indulge him.)
I have no idea what Sen. Simpson was saying here, but we can be reasonably certain that it was crude, rude and VERY funny.
"I'm Barack Obama ... I'm the leader of the Free World ... therefore, I do NOT have to wear a tie to Iowa if I don't want to! So there!"

BROADVIEW, IL - APRIL 27: A protestor is lead away after being arrested for blocking a street to prevent vehicles from the Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention center from transporting immigrants to the airport for a deportation flight on April 27, 2010 in Broadview, Illinois. About twenty-four people were arrested this morning outside the center as about 150 others demonstrated nearby, angry about the passage of Arizona's controversial immigration law and the Obama administration's failure to enact immigration reform.

The president of the United States likes his pie tart, his coffee stale and his reporters out in the parking lot.
President Obama, relaxed and strolling in shirtsleeves, popped by Jerry's restaurant on Rte. 218 in Mount Pleasant on Tuesday and took the afternoon crew by surprise around 2:30 p.m.
One of the workers immediately called his wife — who didn't believe him — so he handed the phone to former Gov. Tom Vilsack, who was part of the entourage, to confirm that Obama had ambled in.
After chatting with a gray-haired patron, Obama asked his staff if he could stay for a cup of coffee — and began scanning a chalkboard over the kitchen that listed all the pies available: custard, chocolate, coconut, lemon, rhubarb, pecan, cherry, apple, peach and butterscotch.
"Let's see," Obama said, "rhubarb ... and a cup of coffee."
When someone offered to brew a fresh pot, the president, who had two dozen motorcade vehicles idling outside, said he'd take what was already at hand.
