Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse speaking just now in support of Bernie Sanders credit card usury amendment
Thank you, Senator Whitehouse!

If Democrats really want to retain both houses of Congress, they might want to really stand with the American people and stop aiding and abetting the banks and credit card companies with their 'tricks and traps' as so eloquently put by Elizabeth Warren.

It won't be easy. Remember what Dick Durbin said of the banks, 'Frankly, they own the place.'

Well, Democrats, here's your choice to really stand up for the public interest and not the special interests whose lobbyist hold fundraisers to fill your campaign coffers.

If not now, when? If not you, who?

It surely won't be Mitch McConnell and the Republicans!

3. The Democrats should turn the tables on the Republicans, because we have the Biblical high ground
Not that it should matter to the people who GOVERN, but opposing usury should matter to voters who are Christian. After all, the Bible speaks against it strongly and in many places.

Why not let THEM look like the Ungodly Party for a change? Let THEM defend ignoring the Bible for once. It can't hurt us, but it'll sure as hell hurt THEM.

5. Along with Bernie Sanders.
It seems like anytime anyone inside the beltway is trying to accomplish something good, Bernie Sanders is involved.

Bernie Sanders kicks ass, frankly. My kinda Senator: too honorable to belong to either party.
