I heard that this is one of the oldest Senates, true or not we will lose at least 5 seats
to age, infirmity, and just plain worn out.

These are times were bs and lobby paybacks is not going to cut it. Many will take the path of it's time to cashin and retire. Many blue dogs will face a cadre of ultra right who don't want a polite impostor but the real hairball, and lose their seats.

The House will be less effected by the big money because it is focused on state houses to control the map process post 2010 census. These are lame duck districts and will be redrawn out of existence for 2012.

3. Here is a chart of Senators with their ages

Some like Byrd, who was re-elected in 2006, might be replaced by their states governors. (WV has a Dem governor) Kaufman is not running and Biden's son, Beau, is favored. (Some risks may be the 2 HI Democrats both 86 and NJ's Lautenberg.)

10. I'm sure you would
Maybe we could get Dennis Kucinich or Feingold of WI to move to WV and run for the Senate!
