1. Would Iowa be emerging because of the efforts of Gov. Culver or Sen Grassley?
Which one do you feel had the most effect?
Goodbye Grassley - go back to the farm.

2. Culver of course.. I know he is not too beloved right now.. but Culver for sure
We are totally screwed if Branstad gets back in ruralib.. and that turkey is going to run. Remember the last time (Branstad) tired to balance the state budget on the state employees retirement funds.. ayy yii yii.. what a joke

4. To be honest I don't think Branstadt can win his primary
He is the closest they have to a sane person on the repug side.

9. If you go in and click you the state, it has the specific cities coming out.. which
could be a good tool for people looking for work in Indiana. Go to the cities that are starting to move

14. I think a real shoulder to shoulder with a jobs program (which seems to be the route)
with the White House bringing it to the front right now.. we could really start to turn this boat around. Who would have thought 10 1/2 months ago we would be at this juncture. I thought we were going off the cliff for at least three years..

16. We in Iowa are not red.. and this is just off the top of my head.. but we have
hard job growth, manufacturing growth in Iowa, I think Deere called back or expanded 300 (or was it caterpillar can't remember it this second) but I think we are seeing some manufacturing growth in some of these areas
