Shocking, the GOP is unhappy with Obama on the Afgan policy!
How can anyone take this party seriously?

If Obama would have decided to add 150,000 more troops for 150 more years, they still would have had some reason not to like it.

And Gates, who they loved, supports Obama 100%!

Boehner was talking this morning on the TV made me want to throw up! Is there a more irritating guy in the world? Maybe Grassley.

Every time they speak it is more and more apparent they are "The Party Of NO"

I hope that is a bumper sticker for 2012! It is a perfect description of them at this point.

1. If President Obama
urged us to brush and floss daily, Boehner would announce that a Heritage Foundation study says tooth decay is good for us and patriotic to boot.

The republican party and their supporters are domestic enemies of our constitution. Period.

2. How is this shocking? He's disliked on both sides---or his Policies as some like to claim.
I'm not surprised.

4. For what reasons are they against it?
Same as some of us here? Or just for the sake of disagreeing with him.

5. This is one thing I expected them to agree about
I guess expecting reasonable behavior from republicans was my bad.

8. Me too. It is almost funny to hear them try to find something wrong with everything.

11. President Obama has just cleaved a good portion of the Jewish vote off of the GOP
The ones who worry about protecting Israel from threats from the Islamic world. They would be happy to have a group like the Bin Laden-Taliban axis permanently vanquished. This is a common sentiment where I live in Beachwood and "The Heights".

On to November 2010!

13. There are two kinds of Republicans . . .
  • Those who oppose President Obama because he is a Democrat and they are Republicans; and
  • Those who oppose President Obama not only because he is a Democrat and they are Republicans, but because he is black and they are white (but they can't be racists because they think Alan Keyes is niftycoolneatokeen and every bit as bright as Sarah Palin).
