Will perception and reality catch up with one another?

Or are the young and fervent just, you know, like dumb?

It'll be interesting to follow the war of perceptions and policies.

1. Let's hope Obama changes.

2. After a few years the young people will favor his policies.

It is too early in the game to pass judgment. A year from now when employment is up, the Iraq war has slowed down, a health care bill has been passed, and Afghanistan is stabilized, Obama's support will come back. Young people are quick to respond while old folks like me are slow to change their mind.

Obama's personal approval rating and overall job approval rating in general tend to outdistance his approval ratings on his handling of particular issues. No doubt his highest approval ratings are among younger voters, though.
